Initial observation — no prior comparable baseline linked

Established bounded capability; low programme-specific discrimination. Require an explicit feature, duration and comparator before a particular test, without importing an unasserted novel mechanism [S54,S55,S57].

Why it sits here

Quantum memories and driven spin systems establish finite preservation or recurrence of operational features [S54,S55]. Bacterial experiments additionally show a size-control relation surviving some growth and regulatory perturbations but breaking under others [S57]. These are instances of the bounded capability asserted; their different mechanisms do not establish a universal identity law.

Principal uncertainty

Choosing a particular system, feature tolerance and timescale remains necessary for any commissioned test. That operational choice is open; the occurrence of bounded feature endurance is already evidenced. Biological homeostasis may preserve a statistical relation across a lineage rather than one organism’s complete state [S57].

What would change the view?

Consider focused review only after a bounded instance claims a specified endurance advantage or names a mechanism with a contrasting prediction.
