BASELINE SURVEY

Evidence-bearing bounded capacity; high maturity coexists with low programme distinctiveness.

Why it sits here

Bayesian inference supplies a direct operational example: numerical formats encode the same inferential relation with different demands on users. A meta-analysis covering 35 articles and 226 performance estimates supports natural-frequency facilitation while identifying substantial task and presentation moderators [S72].

Principal uncertainty

Benefits concern specified packages of numerical information, wording and task demands. The contribution of each component, transfer to action and performance with matched automated tools remain scope-dependent [S73, S74]. Joint-probability evidence cautions against extending a successful format to every inferential relation [S75]. No special consciousness or ontological access is established.

What would change the view?

Before a new commission, specify users, target relations, competing representations, prior-knowledge controls, equal tool availability and a measurable benefit. Escalate only if a stronger mechanism or materially distinct performance claim is introduced.

Launch-v1 depth

Baseline-only public wrapper. No deeper evidence artefacts are fabricated.
