BASELINE SURVEY

Initial observation — no prior comparable baseline linked

Established bounded enabling capacities; no optimality, design or unique programme support.

Why it sits here

The candidate is modestly empirical when rich organisation means specified capacities rather than an undefined universal fertility score. Reconstitution experiments make this tractable: materials, inputs and geometry are controlled while compartment growth, molecular synthesis or spatial dynamics are measured. These examples establish actual enabling conditions under ordinary physical chemistry. They do not compare possible laws, rank the universe's fertility or explain why its constants have their values.

Principal uncertainty

Empirical discrimination is High only for the nominated intervention contrasts, not for competing cosmological explanations. The chief uncertainty is transfer across chemical regimes and scales; S120 remains abstract-level access in this sweep.

What would change the view?

Revisit if the node nominates an additional condition as necessary or attributes a specific capacity that fails under controlled reproduction. A claim about alternative rulesets would require separate formulation.
