Conditional theoretical possibility; no demonstrated successor-control channel.

Why it sits here

Laboratory-universe proposals give this question a theoretical setting beyond ordinary agency. They investigate prepared false-vacuum regions, their gravitational evolution and possible tunnelling into expanding child regions. The candidate remains conditional: demonstrating a generation route would not automatically demonstrate control over its outcome. Here successor conditions must mean nominated physical variables rather than an unspecified desirable future.

Principal uncertainty

The conditional avoids asserting that generation occurs, but cannot establish its own control premise. Existing models make inquiry intelligible while leaving physical availability and effective influence unverified.

What would change the view?

Revisit with a specified intervention-to-successor map and physically justified preparation assumptions; a new generation model alone is insufficient.
