BASELINE SURVEY

Initial observation — no prior comparable baseline linked

Established within-life learning capacity; low programme distinctiveness.

Why it sits here

Learning and memory neuroscience provides direct interventions on acquired traces. Relevant evidence includes selective reactivation, reversible synaptic manipulation and post-learning ablation [S114, S05, S115]. The modest existential formulation does not require conscious recollection, a predictive world model or inheritance of the learned content.

Principal uncertainty

Empirical discrimination is High for retained-history dependence against current-cue-only and nonspecific-intervention alternatives, not for any novel programme theory. Carrier details and the storage–retrieval boundary remain mechanism-specific.

What would change the view?

A materially stronger proposed carrier or unexplained effect, with controls separating retention from performance, would warrant focused review; the generic capacity alone does not.

Launch-v1 depth

Baseline-only public wrapper. No deeper evidence artefacts are fabricated.
