What would you like to do?

Seven ways to work with AI. Start with something that matters to you.

It might be something you want to understand, plan, question, monitor, decide, create or build. Pick the closest starting point. You do not need to know where the conversation will end before you begin. Just let it develop.

Seven ways to work

Choose the closest starting point.

Start simply. Let the method grow with the task.

A question about a book may need only a conversation. A holiday plan benefits from clear preferences and understanding of real-world constraints; not every holiday can be to Barbados. Work that matters over time may need saved versions, checks and a little more structure.

You do not need to understand how AI does what it does before you begin. Start with the problem, your interest or idea. AI can help explain, organise and explore alternatives. You bring the purpose, lived experience and judgement, then you decide what happens next.

One piece of work can move between several modes.

Something may start with learning, turn into planning, require a decision and eventually become something worth building or monitoring. The seven ways are starting points, not closed boxes. Follow the work where it naturally goes.
